a door stop in the architecture building at the university of utah |
So here it goes. I have recently turned over a new leaf of observation. It all began when I decided to take out my headphones when I walk to class. It was a simple change that opened my senses to the world. Beyond listening to the sounds around me, I started feeling things too. I have started paying attention to the textures of objects as I pass by, often by simply running my fingers along their surface as I walk.
In doing this I have made a specific effort to look for beautiful moments in often overlooked moments.
